Simon is passionate about empowering people-managers with the knowledge and skills to be excellent, effective leaders, so they can in turn build teams that perform.

Simon comes from a background in team and culture development, and worked in the not-for-profit sector prior to joining The People Place. He holds a degree in Management, and is an accredited coach with Strengths Profile™ and the Rocket High Performing Team™ model.

In his role at The People Place, Simon supports businesses delivering middle-management development workshops, and coaching. He is particularly interested in enabling teams to become aware of what aspects of their culture is holding them back from being high performing, and designing team systems to see the growth they hope to attain.

Alongside this practical delivery role, Simon is also the primary contact for our clients. He listens to the needs of businesses in the market, to determine how The People Place can support their development, performance and success via the three key services we offer; recruitment, HR support and consulting, and training.
 
In his personal time, Simon leads an original indie pop band, Ellie Oak. He loves performing, whether that be in front of a music audience or facilitating workshops with his clients.
